TargetCW had a wonderful time showing our support for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at Light The Night on Saturday, November 2nd. Light The Night is the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s annual community event to celebrate survivorship and to remember loved ones who lost their battle with cancer.
Every year, we are blown away by the stories and support of the community for this amazing organization!
TOTAL AMOUNT RAISED BY TARGETCW: $14,817.08
In 1944 at the age of 16, Robert "Robbie" Roesler de Villiers was diagnosed with Leukemia and died shortly after. Frustrated by the lack of knowledge and treatments available for the disease, his parents fundraised and started the Robert Roesler de Villiers Foundation. After years of hard work, the foundation changed its name to The Leukemia Society of America in the 1960s. To date, LLS has invested 1.3 billion dollars into research for blood cancers.
TargetCW is a proud supporter of the organization! To learn more about our philanthropy efforts, visit https://www.tcwglobal.com/giving-back.
